Continuously-recorded Audio 'Life Logs'

This is similar to the photo-based project done by Gordon Bell, well-covered in the press, except with continuous audio recordings instead of still photos. That makes it a lot more practical, and somewhat less intrusive/creepy.
I haven’t delved too far into the papers, but looking just at the graphic on the linked page above, it looks like one of the things they’re doing is cross-referencing audio logs to PIM scheduling information. That struck me as a fairly simple way to instantly make them a whole lot more useful.
Just a neat example of how linking two pieces of information, both of limited usefulness on their own, can create a much more useful resource; one that’s greater than the literal sum of its parts.
